My Story

Art has always been a way for me to express my thoughts and emotions. I knew art was going to be part of my life’s journey. I went to Kent State University for a BA in art. I mostly focused on painting during that time. Being an art therapist was an aspiration for my career. I graduated from Ursuline College from the Art Therapy Counseling program. I have presented art therapy at a nursing homes and with the arts community as a way to share what art therapy does for healing and mental health. I worked in a nursing home, mental health agency, and private practices as an art therapist and clinical counselor. In 2023, I decided to start an online practice for counseling and art as therapy sessions.

My long-term goal is to be able to open a studio in my community to provide counseling and art as therapy services. During the pandemic I saw a need for clients to have more access to mental health counseling and services and want to be able to provide you with art as therapy sessions and counseling with more access.

I am offering both art as therapy sessions and counseling services online at this time.

I paint and draw in my free time, opened an online art shop, and also find time to needlepoint and knit.

I have a love for animals, currently my house is the home of six cats and one dog. Nature and walking is important for my wellbeing. You can find me walking my dog daily. I am a certified yoga instructor since 2020. I hope to incorporate yoga and wellness into the practice in the future.

You will find me on Instagram and on Youtube demonstrating art tasks and announcing anything new to the business.

Welcome,
